Edoardo Maria Bellucci

Edoardo Maria Bellucci is an electronic musician, sound artist, and sound engineer active across the countless forms and expressions of contemporary sound.

Since 2015, he has been the founder, technical, and artistic director of DIACRONIE, an interdisciplinary collective of ever-evolving artists dedicated to the creation, development, and promotion of contemporary sonic arts.

In 2019, he founded Diacronie Lab, a music production studio and sound experimentation laboratory that also serves as the operational base for his work as a sound engineer. Alongside his activity as a musician and performer, Edoardo is deeply engaged in post-production, sound design, and spatial sound direction, collaborating with international artists and institutions. His approach unites artistic sensitivity with technical precision, extending across music, performance, multimedia, film, and broadcasting.

In 2024, he established the record label DIACRONIE media, a hub for the editorial care of projects born from contemporary sonic thought—beyond genre or origin—driven by an ethical approach to publishing that rejects the conventional dynamics of today’s mass music industry.

Through DIACRONIE, he has long curated event series and festivals within Rome’s vibrant and multifaceted scene. Projects such as Ekstasis and PHONÈMA reflect both a commitment to presenting contemporary electronic and electroacoustic performances in unconventional contexts and a broader cultural vision aimed at nurturing today’s social fabric through sound.

Since 2019, he has been particularly active as a composer and sound designer for contemporary dance and the performing arts, working closely with internationally renowned dancers and choreographers.
